About Us

Karen and I met in 2013 at a function in Gatlinburg, TN for the radio station I worked for at the time. A mutual friend unknowingly introduced us prior to the function on social media by adding Karen to pages about University of Tennessee football. After a brief courtship, the rest is history. We married on June 14, 2014 in The Rose Garden on the University of Tennessee’s campus. Both of us were born and raised in East Tennessee and are lifelong Tennessee football fans. In addition to being a fan, I played football at Tennessee in the 80’s. I am also a published author, high school football coach and the Co-Founder and Vice President of a nonprofit organization called The Legends of Tennessee. My beautiful wife is an RN and currently a Division Director in the medical field. Our dream is to retire somewhere in the Caribbean, most likely on St. John, of course. The sound of the ocean, the smell of the salty breeze, and the taste of painkillers made with local rum is our perfect combination for a beautiful life!!
